Perhaps a new Legitimate U.S company that can make a totally new DRM platform based around Quantum Computing and daily software updates to all products to prevent cracking would be awesome. Which by all means I would be for if it didn't cause drops, or performance impacts on legitimate consumers. I'd be happy too if steam came out with a better DRM, and companies were using "Steam DRM" over Denuvo that was uncrackable and didn't cause performance impacts / run encryption that caused performance slow-down even just a few frames.Īnd uncrackable, I don't think that will ever happen, unless somewhere game developers get access to a quantum computer to make some type of enhanced anti-piracy software? I hope it starves off all of the pirates and whiny lil punks. Good no one wants you here, I actually hope one day there is uncrackable DRM on everything digital, including music, movies, and shows. Steam used to be great in 2005, but with all this DRM coming to Steam feels like it's killing the experience for me. I'd really love to pick up a copy of the game <3 owning the previous series on console. I personally bought the Croft Version but when the entirety of the content I paid for becomes available in a DRM free version, I'll switch to that. The fact is, these days you must own hardware that can handle running both the game, and the DRM that comes with it, simultaneously if you want to play AAA titles as soon as they come out.
This is no doubt the reasoning behind having so much content released months after launch. You'll probably have to wait for all of it to be released before you can get any of it for your DRM free version. The problem is all the season pass stuff.
